The Psychopath Test

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a man who she did not know. She thought he was ‘amazing’. She believed him to be her dream partner so much, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him.

A few days later she killed her sister.

Question: What was her motive for killing her sister?

This is VERY interesting!
Answer: She was hoping the guy would appear at the funeral again.
If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by a famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer.
Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly.
If you didn’t answer the question correctly, good for you.

  1. WOW! That was a surprise! Glad to know I'm not a psychopath. So what do you do if you present the question at a social gathering and someone comes up with the "right" answer?

    1. You kill them before they kill you.

      Think about it.

    2. What a silly premise. If you have imagination and empathy you can imagine what other people might be thinking without thinking it yourself. This is the opposite of a psychopath. Perhaps the test was created by a psychopath who does not fully understand the difference between imagining how another thinks and having the same thoughts.

  2. You can prove everyone wrong by not going psychotic on any before you die, Sean.

  3. That's real nice, Mr Grey - I've been trying to come up with a test for years - I'll keep it in mind. Regards. AO

  4. Surely it should be 'appear at the next family funeral, this time for her sister' because 'THE funeral' refers to the mother's funeral which has already been and come and gone.

    And, sure. I got it.
