    1. Every kid should have a pet it teaches them to respect them. I was bought up with animals as my father worked on a farm when we were young.

  3. Yes, I agree, my son has recently took on looking after a stray dog that started living under the stairs of our apartment block. Since he's been feeding and playing with this young dog his behaviour has improved 10 fold in such a short time. The impact I can see on both their lives is amazing!

    1. That's great! I do hope though, that you and others will remember that kids lose interest, and that dog will need a permanent home and continual care...

  4. I've seen too many kids treat animals as something to be tortured and/or disregarded. In many of those cases, they had no pets themselves, or were raised in cultures that see animals as only food or tools of religious sacrifice. Having animals as pets teaches kids to respect and revere all life, not just human life (not to mention the lessons in responsibility it provides). These pictures warm the heart and give me hope that as continued mass extinction of species from climate change & man's inability to act occurs, that some children will carry on the duty of fighting for the preservation of all life & not just humanity.
